Practo is hiring for the role of MIS Executive (MIS & Reconciliation Specialist) to strengthen its finance and operations team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in Management Information Systems and reconciliation processes, and who enjoys working with data to drive accuracy, insights, and process improvements.

You will be responsible for ensuring financial and operational data accuracy, reconciliation, and reporting, while also contributing to automation and system enhancements. This position provides an opportunity to collaborate with multiple departments, build dashboards, and present key insights that help management make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities include:

Reconciliation Processes:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of financial transactions and operational reports.
• Investigate discrepancies, resolve them with stakeholders, and document the findings.
• Develop reconciliation dashboards for real-time monitoring.

Data Management:

• Design and manage MIS frameworks and databases for effective data storage and retrieval.
• Work with teams to collect, process, and analyze large datasets for decision-making.

Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and deliver MIS reports to management and other stakeholders.
• Generate ad-hoc and periodic reports showing trends, metrics, and variance analyses.

Process Improvement:

• Automate recurring reconciliation and reporting tasks using scripts and tools.
• Identify workflow gaps and implement solutions to optimize efficiency.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all reconciliations comply with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain documentation of procedures, findings, and resolutions.

Key Technical Skills:

MIS reporting, Reconciliation, MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros), ERP systems, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Data analysis, Financial systems, Process automation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in MIS and reconciliation roles.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial dashboards.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate insights to non-technical teams.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation best practices.
• Experience with automation tools (Python, VBA, or RPA).
• Exposure to cloud-based MIS or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Zoho).
